Obituary for Fredrick George Giese

Frederick George Giese, 76, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at his home in Larimore, ND. He was born on March 16, 1941 to Floyd and Mary Geise of Larimore.
Fred is survived by his loving wife Fran, his son, Rick and his wife Vonnie of Larimore and his daughter Phonda Wiegandt of Marshalltown, Iowa. His grandsons, Seth Giese and Ian and Jesse Wiegandt. His sisters Linda Hurt of Grand Forks, Patricia Shibsted of Vancouver, Washington, and a brother Floyd Giese of Bremerton, Washington. He leaves many nieces and nephews and had a very special bond with his nephew, Mark Sobolik.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Floyd and Mary Giese, and his sister Caroline Sobolik.

He attended Larimore Public School and was married to the love of his life, Fran Peterson on June, 11, 1965.

He worked for Clarence Sobolik in his body shop until he opened his own shop in Larimore. Later, he worked for Young Manufacturing Co. in Grand Forks.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at the Larimore Senior Center on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM
